One day when my kids are grown, I think they will look back on their childhoods and say, “Remember how mom always told us to PAUSE.” I tell them to pause when we need to take a breath to move through big feelings or pause to appreciate a beautiful moment in nature. It’s one of the things I’m known for saying and its what I do behind the camera. I pause time and capture the delightfully unique and wonderful personalities of kids.
